Is Online Yellow Pages the Right Marketing Tool For you personally
Is Online Phone book the best Advertising tool for you personally? No. Appreciate your time.
Oh, why not? Please read my personal view point on this subject. I've experienced many, although not all print and internet telephone directory publishers. I've found it difficult to keep up with all the new publishers.
The internet Yellow Page product is not yellow nor is it a page. It is simply another online search site.

Before making a long term financial commitment, think about:
1. Does the publisher offer incentives to purchase their online yellow page products? If so, why would they do that? HUMM....
2. Are you able to find anything you want, or perhaps is it limited?
3. Are all phone numbers listed free, cell numbers,ETC..?
4. Do you know the website name to an online yellow page site?
5. How many are out there?
6. Is the format of the online phone book organized by keywords that make sense to you, or confusing predetermined headings?
7. Would you spend a lot of time to go in information is all the filers?
8. Could it be updated annually such as the print product, or anytime such as the internet?
9. Is the disclaimer only understood by lawyers, or easy to understand? Humm...
10. May be the priority placement listings searched by search engines like google?
What if you have already purchased the product? Telephone Directory representatives use "click reports" to prove their sites' effectiveness (with complicated disclaimers clearly printed), humm. A click report indicated my client was recovering from 180 clicks from his information represented within an online yellow page program. The independent traffic report on his site referenced 5 referrals from this advertising venue. The Yellow Pages representative investigated the discrepancy to learn their link was broken. How Is this monitored? Should your marketing manager find their errors? Five clicks was not enough to obtain a fair roi. Cancelling this program saved money without any negative impact whatsoever. Verify your traffic from an independent source. Should you rely solely on the reports from your Yellow Page representative? Humm. A completely independent traffic tool really has no vested interest within the results. It's what it is.

Sign onto Google, Bing, or Yahoo's search engines, you will find the name, address, phone number, hours, credit terms, reviews, graphic logos, photos, movie, profile information and a map, in any city you want!
Internet Yellow Pages:
Sign up for your Internet, sign onto the search site, type in more details based on their multiple filters to start your search, is definitely an unnecessary amount of keying and clicking for my needs. Obviously the once 30 Billion dollar industry needs a lot more than online yellow pages his or her support plan. Bankruptcies, buy outs, and reductions in staff makes a person think, humm.
